The Millennium Forum partnered with local family-run business Craft Training as proud sponsors of the youth musical Evita. Through this partnership, every young person taking part in the production was given the opportunity to experience a professional theatre production at no cost to them, reflecting the Forum’s ongoing commitment to making the arts accessible to everyone.

With Arts & Business NI Investment Programme support, the project paired Millenium Forum’s young performers with Craft Training apprentices, who designed and built an impressive portable set piece inspired by EVITA’s iconic balcony.

The bespoke set became the stage for performances in Ebrington Square and Guildhall Square, highlighting not only the creativity of the young cast but also the skills, craftsmanship and dedication of the next generation of apprentices. The initiative brought EVITA beyond the theatre walls and into the heart of the city, giving audiences a special preview of the youth musical while showcasing the exceptional talent of young people across the North West.
