- Location: A&BNI, East Belfast Network Centre, 55 Templemore Avenue, Belfast (flexible options available)
- Salary & hours: £30,000 (depending on experience) Full-time (35 hours per week)

Arts & Business NI is seeking an organised, proactive and motivated Membership Engagement Officer to build engagement across their Membership community. Reporting to the Head of Business, you will play a key role in delivering our membership engagement strategy, strengthening relationships with members, and supporting retention and sustainable growth.
About You
You are organised, creative and people-focused, with a strong interest in Northern Ireland’s vibrant cultural sector. You enjoy developing new ideas, managing multiple priorities and working both independently and collaboratively. You are confident presenting to clients and stakeholders, comfortable using CRM systems, and able to interpret engagement data to inform strategic decision-making.
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least two years’ experience in a membership, fundraising or client-focused role with responsibility for engagement and retention
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems to track engagement and analyse data
- Competence in using Microsoft Office software, Excel reporting and insight generation
- Experience in business development, account management, membership sales or relationship management with responsibility for achieving growth or retention targets.
Desirable Experience
- Support marketing activity such as social media scheduling or content updates
- Using design tools such as Canva
- Coordinating or delivering events
- Experience of email marketing platforms and distributing newsletters or member communications.
