Our Northern Ireland office was set up in 1987. Recognising the success and strength in Northern Ireland, the Arts & Business UK Board devolved the operation and set up Arts & Business Northern Ireland (A&B NI) as an independent Northern Ireland charity on 1 November 2011. Our success has only grown from here, and in 2017 A&B NI celebrated its 30th Anniversary!
Arts & Business Northern Ireland’s arts remit covers the performing arts, literature, visual arts and crafts, museums, libraries, heritage and film. We have over 30 years’ experience in driving dynamic collaborations between both the arts and business sectors in Northern Ireland.
We work with private sector businesses to help them find arts based solutions to business challenges. We help strengthen the arts by connecting them with business and facilitating improved business skills through their mentoring and board matching programmes. Via our training, advice and support we build confidence and skill within the arts in the area of fundraising and income generation. At the heart of our work is the belief that the arts have the power to transform and change lives on both an individual and corporate level.
Arts & Business NI is generously supported by The Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
