In this edition join us for an open conversation on where to begin with Philanthropy – what is it, and how can we make this part of our fundraising strategies and journeys?
We will discuss what Philanthropy is, how it works, and talk about the climate, and potential, in NI. We’ll look at success stories outside of NI, what we can learn from these, and have an open discussion around challenges, opportunities, ideas and first steps.
We’ll be joined by Oonagh Desire, who will share her insights and practical advice gained from working in Ireland, Britain and the United States. Since returning to Belfast she has been working island-wide, supporting organisations and individuals to achieve their goals and grow their impact. Drawing on her 25 years of experience in arts, culture, and the voluntary sector with a background in management, fundraising and engagement, Oonagh provides strategic guidance, capacity building and change management support.
We would love to hear your thoughts for future topics of discussion topics so get in touch!
