The A&B NI Social Value Summit, in partnership with Bank of Ireland, will showcase businesses who are at the top of their game, working with arts partners to deliver memorable Social Value with measurable impacts.

Social Value is the positive impact created for society, suppliers, employees, communities, and the environment by the actions and legacy of an organisation or individual, beyond financial considerations.

This half-day conference will highlight best practices, spark innovative ideas, and explore how businesses across sectors can ignite new partnerships with creative organisations to deliver their Social Value commitments.

 

Attendees will -

  • Learn more about the need and opportunities to demonstrate Social Value as part of the public tender process
  • Hear from leading voices in the business community who are delivering Social Value for their organisations in innovative and creative ways
  • Discover how partnership with NI’s vibrant creative sector can drive social and economic wellbeing

Speakers Include –

  • Lisa Beers, Head of Social Value Unit, Strategic Investment Board. Lisa will set the scene for Social Value in NI and highlighting opportunities for creative partnerships, with a focus on the Promoting Wellbeing strand.
  • Paula Murphy, Group Director Brand & Sponsorship at Bank of Ireland -
    Paula will speak about the creation of the Bank of Ireland Begin Together Arts Fund and will share the wide-reaching social impacts achieved across the island of Ireland.
  • Sam Donaldson, Director, Perspective Economics – Sam will share insights from commissioned research by Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport on the role of VCSE Organisations in Public Procurement and why Perspective Economics support artist bursaries for the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and how this investment delivers Social Value and business benefits.
