Unsure where to start when drafting a business plan? Need some support on getting a clear and coherent strategy for your organisation?
This insightful half day session will give you practical knowledge, tips and advice on what to put in into your business plan and will also get you thinking about the bigger picture, including your strategic vision, mission and more!
Attendees will –
1) Gain insight on the purpose of a business plan and how to make this a working document and not something that sits on a shelf!
2) Be able to gain confidence and knowledge in your planning and strategy whilst answering:

Who is this event for:
This event is for those who work in the non-profit, charity or arts, heritage and cultural sectors. It is open to anyone in any director, CEO, business support or development roles or others outside of these roles who are looking support on business and strategic planning.

10:00-12:30- Workshop with 15 min breaks every 45 mins

About our workshop lead:
Josh Watts, Director, Innovate_
Josh is the Managing Director of Innovate_, an agency he founded to help social enterprises and impact-driven businesses grow and scale. His background includes roles within the National Trust, PwC, London local authorities, Social Housing providers, and technology start-ups, where he led teams in strategic growth, operations, fundraising, and large-scale project management.
Josh brings clarity and challenge in equal measure. His insight has been key in helping Beat Carnival reflect on where we are and confidently plan where we’re going. It’s been a hugely valuable strategic process for our team and Board, helping to shape the future direction of the organisation.
