Creative thinking will be one of the most in-demand workforce skills for businesses by 2027, according to the World Economic Forum’s latest Future of Jobs report. Discover how NI businesses are innovating and gaining a creative edge through partnerships with cultural organisations.

At this free lunchtime event, we’ll hear from guest speakers from across the cultural and commercial sectors who have successfully worked together to bring amazing creative projects to life, with support from A&B NI Investment Programme funding. We’ll also find out about the critical role a creative culture continues to play in helping businesses develop new ideas, meet their objectives and adapt to new trends.

Speakers Include –

  • Bridgeen Barbour, Established Coffee and Nicola Curry, Maiden Voyage Dance: Two like-minded organisations will share how they joined forces in a brand-new partnership which invests in community, creativity and workforce wellbeing.
  • Michelle Hatfield, Belfast City Airport: IGNITE -  a creative industry, youth leadership initiative by Belfast City Airport and Cinemagic, empowering young people with opportunities to shape their future. This partnership not only inspires the next generation, but also strengthens Belfast City Airport’s ESG strategy, delivering meaningful social value across NI.
  • Nicky Cahill, Translink: Transforming the York Street Station
Underpass. Street art meets community in a transformative project led by Translink in collaboration with Seedhead Arts. Harnessing the arts, the project revitalised an unloved walkway, turning it into a space where the community can feel a sense of connection and pride.

Discover the transformative impacts of these projects, spark new ideas and gain insights on starting and sustaining a successful creative partnership with another organisation. Plus, enjoy captivating performances from In Your Space Circus, poet Niamh McNally and Maiden Voyage Dance.

And that’s not all—attendees who have been funded through our Investment Programme since April 2023 will be honoured with a special certificate on arrival, celebrating their partnership and achievements.
