Join us for an introduction to financial planning to gain insight and practical advice on how to build robust finance processes, take financially sustainable decisions and lead with financial confidence for your organisation!

This workshop is for those who:

  • Deal with budgets
  • Fundraising project planning
  • Anything accounts/financially related for nonprofit organisations.

What to expect:

  • Understand the benefits of future planning and budgeting
  • Explore prepared budgets and see examples of budgets
  • It will provide a space to learn from others
  • Provide best practice and useful tips to make your finance strong and resilient
  • Refreshments and chats!

Delivered by Liz Pepler MIAB FRSA (she/her) Founder Director of Embrace Finance

Liz is a small charity financial resilience specialist and co-founder of the Small Charity Friendly Collective. She is an experienced Chair, Treasurer and Trustee. Liz co-authored Lloyds Bank Foundation’s Organisational Resilience framework which supports organisations to build long term resilience in times of uncertainty. Liz delivers finance training for a range of infrastructure bodies and grant makers including NCVO, Getting on Board, LBFEW, the Fore Trust, and the Association of Chairs. Liz is a certified bookkeeper and member of the Institute of Accounting and Bookkeeping with a Masters in Charity Accounting and Financial Management (Dist) and a PG Certificate in Charity Administration. Liz is a fellow of the RSA.
