Taking great quality photographs is a crucial tool in the development and promotion of your business. It can reflect your image, build a brand, showcase your products and services, and enhance the impact of your website and social media. This bitesize workshop with Conor O’Brien from Belfast Exposed, will provide you with skills, knowledge and guidance on how to use your smartphone, or digital camera, to produce professional-standard photographs to improve marketing potential and online presence.

About the Facilitator:
Conor O’Brien is the Business Development Manager at Belfast Exposed. On the back of completing a degree in architecture, he later graduated with a degree in fine art and soon after became the Intern at Belfast Exposed, a role that eventually evolved to oversee the design, marketing and business development of the organisation for the past nine years. A large part of the role has been the management of Belfast Exposed’s photography courses - a range of courses in teaching skills in digital, film and traditional photography to individuals and businesses.

Learn to present with IMPACT. In this session theatre-maker Stephen Beggs will introduce the group to activities normally used in the rehearsal room when a team is coming together to work on a project.  These transferrable skills will help to build confidence, communication, presentation skills and group dynamics in a creative and engaging way.  It should also be fun too!

About the Facilitator: 
Stephen Beggs is a Theatre Maker based in Belfast. He has worked as an actor, director, producer, writer and facilitator with most theatre companies and venues in Northern Ireland and beyond. He has also created his own solo shows ‘My Father’s Chair’ with Young at Art and ‘The King Of East Belfast’ with Kabosh Theatre Company.

Combining physical theatre training with creative therapy techniques, this workshop focuses primarily on the impact of stress on the body/mind and what we can do to manage, alleviate and reclaim a sense of balance in our daily and working lives. The workshop, led by Artistic Director and accredited Creative Therapist and meditation facilitator,  Patrick O’Reilly, also focuses on self-awareness practice and will offer solutions to create a sense of space and clarity in our busy working lives.

About the Facilitator:
Patrick trained at the Le Coq International school in Paris and is a writer and Artistic Director with Tinderbox theatre company in Belfast.  Since his appointment as AD, he has directed a number of critically acclaimed works. He was awarded the Stewart Parker BBC Drama Award for his production The Weein in 2009. The Man Who Fell To Pieces was nominated for a ZeBBie award for best play of 2018 and in 2021 he received a National Lottery Nomination for his continuous artistic programmes for artists during the pandemic. Most recent productions include Birds of Passage in the Half Light, (Edinburgh Festival 2022) Something Different March 2023 at the MAC and Dressed for Space Rotterdam Daken Dagen. Patrick also works as an accredited licensed Creative Therapist and meditation facilitator in Northern Ireland and has delivered creative well-being programmes for Women’s Aid, Nexus NI, Theatre and Dance NI and the Shared Island Intercultural programme.
