First Church Belfast, Rosemary Street
Thursday 12 December 2019 at 1pm-2pm
Our Arts Uncovered series continues with another informal event to show you something a little bit different and introduce you to an arts organisation and a venue you may not already know. Join us at First Church Belfast, Rosemary Street to hear from Charles Wood Festival, a renowned choral and organ festival held in Armagh each August to celebrate the work of the city's famous composer.
In December 2019 Charles Wood Festival will be launching a very exciting Corporate Choirs Competition. This will offer Northern Irish companies a unique approach to wellbeing and teambuilding by bringing together employees at all levels through an activity that builds trust, improves communication skills, and boosts staff morale. The Festival is delighted to be working with Arts and Business NI on the Corporate Choir project. The Festival will offer each choir entrant a professional Choral Conductor, who will rehearse two songs with them over the course of five sessions leading up to a competition during the prestigious Charles Wood Festival 2020.
Come along to find out more, join in some festive singing and have a bite of lunch with us. Reserve your place by email to Sarah at email@example.com
